World's Most Expensive Car

There are many types of cars in the world from 15 year old beaters to 50 year old classics. You can buy some new cars these days for around $10,000 and others will cost more than you might make in the next 20 years. When it comes to luxury and super luxury models of cars people think of Porsce, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Rolls Royce, and even Mercedes Benz. Oh, and of course we can't forget James Bond's brand of choice - Ashton Martin. All of these brands make cars of exceptional quality and of great expense. They each have a contender within the top 10 Most expensive cars in the world, however when it comes down to being the absolute most expensive, there can obviously be only one winner.

Now, we're not talking about custom-made cars here, or classics, or anything out of the "ordinary." This hub is about the most expensive production car.

The World's Most Expensive Production Car

Coming in with a price tag of around 1.7 million dollars, the Bugatti Veyron is the most expensive car in the world by far. Its nearest competitor, the Ferarri Enzon, comes in a distant second at a meager $1 million.

This super expensive packs quite a punch. At 1000 hp, and a top speed of over 250 mph, this is not only one of the more expensive cars on the road, but also one the fastest and most powerful.

James "the slowest man in the world" May from Top gear hits the Bugatti Veyron's top speed in this Top Gear clip. It's a pretty long clip, but I recommend watching the entire thing. Also, I recommend watching Top Gear; it's informative and hilarious. I'm not even a "car guy," but I love this show.
