Pendant Lights

There are few lighting options that are as bold as pendant lights. These lights are suspended from the ceiling by various means. Often they dangle by cable or chain, but you can find some that are held in place by a metal rod. Their dangling nature is why they've received the name "pendant lights;" because a pendant simply refers to a hanging object.  They are a contemporary and stylish addition to any room, but are best used in places where either a certain mood, or a spotlighting effect is desired.  This is because, rather than flooding an area with light as some lights do, depending on the style of light, they will either produce a warm glow, or a spot light.
