Bathroom wall cabinets are a great way to add a little organization and storage to your bathroom. In most bathrooms you are stuck with a medicine cabinet and maybe a bit of storage space under the sink. If you're really lucky, you might even have a small linen closet. If you don't have that linen closet though, you might be hard pressed to find a decent storage place for your towels and other bathroom accessories that don't quite fit in the medicine cabinet. These wall cabinets are larger and deeper than a medicine cabinet, usually have more shelves, and generally have at least two if not three cabinets which really makes for a lot of storage space.

No matter what style or design motif you're going for in your bathroom, there's a style of cabinet to suit your needs.  They come in a wide variety of materials, shapes, and colors.

The Many Types of Wall Mounted Bathroom Cabinets

Wood bathroom storage cabinets come in many different varieties and shades. One really nice color that goes with most bathrooms is black, or very dark brown. This is really the type of cabinet that can go with anything. Conversely, white bathroom wall cabinets give a clean and sterile feeling to the bathroom, which many people enjoy. Of course, you will find wood cabinets in any shade you would typically find any wooden furniture in. Shape wise, obviously they come in square or rectangular shapes, but they can also come with ornate designs on the doors and corners. Arch-top bathroom cabinets are also pretty popular, as they break up the lines of a simple rectangular design.

Even the doors of bathroom wall storage cabinets have a variety of styles, including the aforementioned ornate wood designs. In addition, you will also find plain wood doors, as well as glass, both frosted and clear. Of course, a popular choice is the mirrored door, as it adds virtual space to any room.

If you're not into wood cabinets, you can always go with metal cabinets. They are made of stainless steel and are built to last for ages and come in either a polished or brushed finish. They really accentuate fine crafted faucets and other luxury bathroom items, and can be the crucial finishing touch on any bathroom.

The final decision for the perfect bathroom wall cabinet will come down to the overall design of your bathroom.  You want the convenience of the cabinets without them sticking out like a soar thumb.  If you're going with a classic look, white or black wood cabinets are probably the way to go.  However, if you want a more modern or contemporary look, go with a nice stainless steel cabinet with a brushed finish.
